Guwahati: In a continuous drive against cattle smugglers, Assam Police once again seized 30 cattle heads from a truck in Nagaon district on Friday.
Based on specific input, a police squad intercepted a truck on National Highway 37 in the Raha area.
Upon checking, 30 cattle heads were recovered from the truck.
The truck was heading from Bokakhat side when it was intercepted at NH 37.
Moreover, the driver of the truck has also been arrested in connection to the seizure.
The arrestee was identified as Ikramul Hoque.
