Meghalaya TMC publishes campaign video with characters from “Super Mario” that emphasises party’s goals
Guwahati: Meghalaya Trinamool Congress on February 23 released a cutting-edge campaign film based on the Super Mario series to communicate the party’s vision and the assurances made by TMC Legislative Party leader Dr. Mukul Sangma.
The campaign video, which incorporates iconic parts from one of the video games that 90s youth loved the most, has received overwhelmingly positive feedback on social media, with internet users praising the way it combines nostalgia for the past with current political issues.
In the two-minute animated clip, Dr. Mukul Sangma is portrayed as the “Veteran Leader and Able Administrator” who successfully completes the game by hoisting the TMC flag at the main castle of Meghalaya while highlighting the TMC’s 10 Pledges For Meghalaya. The two-time Chief Minister is also seen in the film defeating NPP and BJP opposition party leaders.
The Meghalaya Trinamool Congress produced a number of distinctive components, including the film, to make sure that its message and mission were understood by every Meghalayan household.
Releasing the video on social media, Meghalaya TMC tweeted: “Growth, Progress, Development – People of Meghalaya, #TMC assures it all! Upholding his legacy of good governance, Dr. @mukulsangma, an able administrator shall work tirelessly for the hill state’s brighter future.”
The WE Card, MYE Card, the FARM aid scheme, rising social pensions, student laptops, model schools in each block, maternal and childcare centres, and plenty of options for making money are among the manifesto pledges that are included in the video.
