Guwahati: A married woman was alleged to have been sexually assaulted by her science teacher at a school in Hailakandi district of Assam. The accused has been arrested.
The teacher suspected of sexual assault was arrested by the police after the victim’s report was filed on February 21.
The notorious teacher has been identified as Siddharth Shekhar.
As per reports, Shekhar is a science teacher of Kuchila High School in Hailakandi district.
In her complaint, the victim woman claimed that the aforementioned teacher had touched her inappropriately and tried to rape her.
The teacher is currently being questioned at the Hailakandi Police Station while a case has been filed against the accused.
