Guwahati: India-American Actor Karan Soni, who has appeared in the Deadpool movie, is now becoming a part of the Spider-Man as the actor has been cast to voice Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse’,
According to national media reports, Karan Soni will be voicing Pavitr Prabhakar, or the alternate-world version of Spider-Man, which is known as Spider-Man India.
Oscar award winning movie ’Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ is a sequel will be featuring Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy or Spider-Gwen and Shameik Moore as Spider-Man or Miles Morales.
It will be released on june 2 by Sony.
The original movie had received a lot of recognition for its distinctive animation style and for exploring the universe, many years before it became a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC’s ‘The Flash’ movie.
Joaquim Dos Santos, Justin K Thompson and Kemp Powers are directing the movie. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are credited as writers on Spider-Man. Along with Chris Miller and David Callaham.
Actor Karan Soni has joined a voice cast for the movie that also includes likes of Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham and Oscar Isaac.
Karan played the cab driver Dopinder in the first two Deadpool movies. His other voice-acting works include ‘Strange World’ and ‘Trolls World Tour’.
