Guwahati: A truck carrying heads met with a road accident in Tezpur sub-division of Assam.
The shocking incident has occurred in Sootea.
As many as 21 cattle were loaded at the truck.
Out of 21 cattle, 3 were reported dead and other of them were injured in the mishap.
As per reports, the mishap took place when truck lost its control and collided with a Bolero pick up vehicle.
It has come to fore that the cattle were being smuggled from Banderdewa to Tezpur.
Following the incident, the smugglers attempted to flee from the spot.
However, the police were able to apprehend two individuals, including the truck driver.
Moreover, the accident has caused a stir into the area.
