Guwahati: A low density earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 affected areas of the adjacent city and Guwahati in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake’s epicentre was in Kamrup and the first tremors were felt at 3:59 am.
In a Twitter post, NCS wrote, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.2, Occurred on 08-03-2023, 03:59:08 IST, Lat: 26.23 & Long: 91.44, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: Kamrup, Assam, India .”
