Newly Elected Tripura Legislative Assembly Members To Take Their Oaths on March 16

Guwahati: The newly elected Tripura state legislative assembly members will take the oath of office in the assembly’s conference hall on March 16.

The oath will be administered by protem speaker, Binoy Bhusan Das.

All the recently elected MLAs were mentioned by the secretary of state gathering in a warning to accompany the support provided by concerned bringing officers back.

The first session of the newly constituted state assembly will start on March 24. According to Section 174(1) of the Indian Constitution, Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya will preside over the meeting, the state assembly secretary was notified in a notification.

The state assembly will have a fresh vibe this time around with the attendance of the leaders of four major parties including the BJP, CPI(M), Congress and TIPRA Motha.

The Thirteenth Legislative Assembly’s newly elected members will be sworn in during a ceremony on March 16 at 11 a.m. in the Tripura Legislative Assembly’s session hall.

The newly elected members of the Legislative Assembly were asked in a circular by the Secretary of the State Legislative Assembly to show up to the swearing-in ceremony on March 16 with their individual election certificates.

The regional party TIPRA Motha may be prepared to join the opposition bench for the first time in Tripura’s history despite the fact that the CPI(M) will not be in the opposition this time. Two TIPRA Motha ministers are being considered for inclusion in the government, nevertheless.

An MLA for TIPRA Motha Animesh Debbarma is expected to lead the opposition in the house even though TIPRA withheld the name of their leader.
