Assam: SEBA To Conduct HSLC Exam With Strict Guidelines

Guwahati: Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has issued strict guidelines and is prepared to enlist the assistance of the police to carry out the remaining exams despite the ongoing demonstrations caused by the leak of the HSLC paper.

According to the most recent SEBA guidelines, general science and MIL-Assamese exam questions will be supplied to every police station and police outpost between March 26 and 29. Only the station’s officer-in-charge and the center-in-charge are authorised to receive these question papers.

”The confidential papers of both the subjects are packed in cartons and the cartons are to be received by the Officer-in-Charge of the police station/ police outpost, in presence of the Centre-in-Charge and the Officer/ staff deputed from your end as per point No. 1 of the letter No. SEBA/EX/HOLD/65/2022-23 Dated Guwahati the 15 March 2023,” an official order read.

As per the regulation, the sealed boxes of General Science and MIL-Assamese are not to be opened in the police station/ police outpost.

”The Centre-in-Charge with the Police escort will take the sealed cartons to the Centre and the Cartons will be opened in the strong room only under CCTV surveillance,” the order read.

In order to exclude any chance of the rejected documents being used, the officer or personnel from SEBA will collect all the rejected classified General Science and MIL-Assamese documents from the police station or police outpost on their way back.
