Guwahati: Mc Donald, a well-known fast-food chain with US headquarters will temporarily close its US offices this week as it gets ready to inform corporate staff about layoffs conducted by the burger giant as part of a larger company restructure, according to a Wall Street Journal article.
According to reports, the story cited a company email issued last week to select international and US employees in which McDonald’s instructed them to work remotely from Monday to Wednesday.
Also, it instructed personnel to postpone all in-person interactions at its headquarters with clients and any outside parties.
