Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a woman killed her husband using a sharp weapon at their home in Bajali district of Assam on Thursday.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the preceding night when the wife killed her husband who is identified as Niranjan Bora in rage over family dispute.
The accused Junita Bora and her 6-year-old daughter went to Bhawanipur Police Station and surrenders to the police today morning.
The police filed a FIR in relation to the incident and reached the crime scene to begin their investigation.
The couple had been residing in their in-laws’ home in Bajali for the last ten years since their marriage. However, Niranjan Bora was a resident of Golaghat.
