Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a man was brutally attacked by unidentified miscreants in the GS Road area of Guwahati.
The person have been identified as the Manager of Starbucks Coffeehouse at GS Road. The incident took place near the ABC Point on GS Road on Monday night.
According to reports, the victim identified as Bhaskar Jyoti Das suffered severe injuries after being attacked with sharp objects by two bike-riders. Reportedly, the miscreants were drunk at the time the incident took place.
However, the two attackers ran away from the scene immediately following the heinous incident.
Das apparently closed the shop late at night and was riding his scooter back home.
Meanwhile, Das was admitted to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in critical condition by some people who witnessed the incident. Das sustained many cut injuries on his body.
Later, the manager was then shifted to the Apollo Hospital for advanced medical treatment.
An FIR has been filed in relation to the incident at the Bhangagarh Police Station.
