Guwahati: As many as four Army jawans were dead in a tragic accident in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The incident took place near Bhatta Durian Forest in BG sector. Army’s convoy accident on Poonch-Jammu national highway. Fire breaks out in army convoy.
At least four jawans were martyred in the accident. It is learnt that many soldiers were trapped inside the vehicle due to the fire.
As soon as the accident was reported, locals rushed to the spot. And also informed the police and the Army about the incident. Rescue operations are underway at the spot. It is yet to be ascertained how the fire broke out in the vehicle.
On the other hand, the Army spokesperson urged that videos and pictures related to the incident in Jammu should not be circulated. A probe has been launched into the incident.
