Guwahati: Assam’s education minister Ranoj Pegu attended the official launching of the “Siksha Setu Axom” webpage on Monday in Guwahati.
According to reports, today’s portal launch event was held in Kahilipara in Guwahati. The portal has been launched to collect all information on schools including that of the staff and students.
Education minister of Assam was present during the portal’s official launch in Kahilipara.
Meanwhile, the state will experience ‘School Profile Updation Week’ after the Siksha Setu Axom portal’s launch during which all information will be uploaded on the platform.
Speaking at the event, Ranoj Pegu said, “With the help of this portal, we are looking to take things forward in terms of revamping the education sector.”
‘School Profile Updation Week’ will take place in Assam from April 24 to April 30, 2023. This was informed by the state education minister.
Taking to Twitter, Ranoj Pegu had written, “From April 24-30, 2023 we will be observing the School Profile Updation Week, wherein 360 degree information on schools will be uploaded in the Siksha Setu Asom Portal.”
“Hence, requesting Principals/Headmasters/Headmistress of elementary & secondary schools to upload the relevant details in the portal,” he added.
