Guwahati, 14 May: As many as six youths were arrested with drugs in Dumduma. The youths were arrested for selling drugs.
The youths arrested by the police have been identified as Amrit Verma, Anarul Haque, Pranjal Baruah, Vijay Pal, Prakash Sahu and Amud Shah.
All the arrested have been lodged at Dumduma police station. 12.59 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the arrested youths.
The Heroin were seized at Dilai in Bokajan and inconnection to the seizure 6 youths were arrested with brown sugar in Dumduma.
Meanwhile, a huge amount of heroin was seized at Dilai in Bokajan. The drugs were seized while trying to smuggle them in vegetable bags. A smuggler identified as Anim Saha of Tripura was arrested along with drugs. 122.14 grams of heroin was brought in the 10 soap boxes.
