Arunachal Former MLA Chau Tewa Mein Passes Away

National Desk, 15 May: Former MLA of Arunachal Pradesh Chau Tewa Mein elder brother of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein breathed his last on Monday.

Chau Tewa Mein breathed his last while on his way to Dibrugarh district of Assam. He was an Indian politician from the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

As a candidate for the People’s Party of Arunachal, Chow Tewa Mein won the Chowkham seat in the 2014 election for the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly without any opposition.

He has a graduate degree and was one of six MLAs including Chief Minister Pema Khandu who were suspended by the PPA for anti-party conduct.
