HSLC Results 2023: Second Highest Pass Percentage Recorded Since 1992

Guwahati, 21 May: As many as 72.69% of the applicants who registered for the (HSLC) exams in 2023 passed them, according to results released on Monday by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA).

It should be mentioned that this year’s passing rate was among the highest since 1992. According to SEBA, the 2023 results had the second-highest pass percentage since 1992. The overall pass rate in 2021 was 93.10 percent. However, that can be attributed to an academic epidemic because it is physically difficult to sit for exams and because students are promoted based on their prior achievements.

Meanwhile, the overall pass rate for 2013 was recorded at 70.71 percent while that for 2011 was 70.38 percent. Since 1992, these pass rates were the highest ever.

On the other hand, only 29.0% of students passed overall in 1992 which was the year with the lowest pass rate ever.
