Entertainment desk, 9 July: OMG 2 is soon to be released in theatres, starring Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar are all set to hit the theatres. The movie is a follow-up to Akshay and Paresh Rawal’s huge hit Oh My God from 2012. The first-look posters have caught the audience’s attention and raised hopes for the second installment. The much-anticipated teaser’s release date was previously announced on social media by Akshay and the entire team.
In a video that he released, Akshay dressed himself as Lord Shiva. The actor is seen with long hair, kohled eyes and ash on his brow while donning a black outfit. Akshay makes a compelling and strong impression in the movie. He may be seen in the video wandering while a crowd yells his name in the distance.
Even the background music includes the song “Har Har Mahadev.” Akshay captioned the video in Hindi, reading, “11.07.2023. #OMG2Teaser out on July 11. #OMG2 in theatres on August 11.” Have a look:

According to Pinkvilla, the OMG 2 trailer will be shown alongside Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible 7 in India starting on July 12. The source claims that the teaser has a runtime of 1 minute and 34 seconds and is classified “U.” The movie is marketed as a biting social comedy. The OMG sequel was written and directed by Amit Rai. It will face competition from Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s Gadar 2. Both films will hit cinemas on August 11.
