Guwahati, 21st July: A massive fire broke out at Nazira in the Sivasagar district of Assam on Friday causing fear and panic among the locals.
The incident reportedly happened at the SK Petro Services Private Limited in Geleki.
The cause of the fire is still currently unknown and is yet to be determined.
The police and the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) fire brigade responded to the situation immediately, and they arrived at the spot to battle the flames.
Efforts are being made by the authorities to maintain control and prevent further escalation.
Everyone in the region is on high alert as a result of the incident and is waiting for reports on the situation’s progress and the extent of the damage caused.
