Guwahati, 29th July: The Darrang Police made a major breakthrough on Saturday in the Mangaldoi’s Dhula area of Assam by capturing a drug dealer.
The businessman identified as Mubarak Ali, was reportedly arrested at his home.
A significant amount of drugs were recovered as a result of the operation, including 32.2 grams of heroin hidden in two soap boxes and 132 drug containers.
Moreover, a sum of Rs 7, 33,700 in cash, suspected to be drug proceeds, was also seized from the dealer.
This operation was effective, which is a big step toward reducing drug-related activity in the area and maintaining law and order.
