Assam: Fake Currency Printing Machine Seized In Nagaon, 1 Arrested

Guwahati, 29th July: A fake currency printing racket has been busted by Nagaon Police and seized a printing machine in an operation on Saturday.

The incident took place at Kachua of Assam’s Nagaon.

During the operation, police detained a man named Sahidul Islam from the Uzanmari area of Nagaon.

According to reports, cops seized Rs. 1.62 lakh in counterfeit currency from Islam’s possession.

During the raid, a fake currency printing machine was also seized.

Further investigation to unearth more facts in the matter is underway.
