Assam: Major Reshuffle In Police Department, Check The Details

Guwahati, 30th July: In a major reshuffle in the Home (A) and Political Department of the Assam Government, as many as 40 state police officials were transferred and posted in various locations on Saturday. The following is the full list (dated July 29, 2023) of the 40 police officials who have been transferred:

  1. In the interest of public service, Dr. Bidyut Das Boro, APS (DR-2010), Addl. SP (Crime), Hailakandi is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Training), CID, Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  2. In the interest of public service, Shri Moidul Islam, APS (DR-2013), who was deputed to Tinsukia District as Addl. SP (Crime) is reverted back to his substantive post as 2nd-in-Command, 9th APBn., Barhampur, Nagaon.
  3. In the interest of public service, Shri Bitul Chetia, APS (DR-2013), Addl. SP (Kaziranga National Park) under STF, Assam, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Majuli with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  4. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44 dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti. Aseema Kalita, APS (DR-2015), Dy. SP, SB (HQ), Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-II), Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Shri Ashif Ahmed, APS transferred on being allowed to hold charge post.
  5. In the interest of public service, Smti. Rajashree Dhandia, APS, Vice Principal, Lachit Barphukan Police Academy, Dergaon is transferred and posted as 2nd-inCommand, 3rd APBn., Titabor, Jorhat with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  6. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-A dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Tilok Das, APS (PR-2015), Dy. SP (S&I), Dibrugarh is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, 5 th Assam Commando Battalion (Urban Ops and Law & Order), Pabhoi, Biswanath with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  7. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-B dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri John Das, APS (DR-2016), SDPO, Bokajan, Karbi Anglong is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Security), Karbi Anglong with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  8. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-C dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Gitartha Dev Sarma, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Karimganj is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Baksa with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  9. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-D dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Tridip Bardalai, APS (DR-2016), ACP, Basistha, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Security), Capital Complex, Dispur, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  10. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-E dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Laba Kumar Deka, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Chirang is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (S&I), Lakhimpur with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  11. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-F dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Anurag Sarmah, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Goalpara is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Kaziranga National Park) under STF, Assam with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Shri Bitul Chetia, APS transferred.
  12. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-G dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Pranjal Borah, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Darrang is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Dhemaji with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Shri Gourav Kr. Agarwal, APS transferred on being allowed to hold charge post.
  13. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-H dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti. Jikirani Mahanta, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Nalbari is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Dhemaji with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  14. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-I dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Shamirdaptar Baruah, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Barpeta is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Hailakandi with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Dr. Bidyut Das Boro, APS transferred.
  15. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-J dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Pranab Jyoti Kalita, APS (DR-2016), SDPO, Bijni, Chirang is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Nagaon with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Shri Suprotive Lal Baruah, APS transferred on being allowed to hold charge post.
  16. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-K dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Madhuyya Prasad Baruah, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Golaghat is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, 4th Assam Commando Battalion (Ops), Geleki, Kamalabari, Sivasagar and attached to CM’s Security with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  17. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-L dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Faruque Ahmed, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP, CID, Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Dima Hasao with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  18. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-M dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Jayanta Baruah, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Biswanath is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Lakhimpur with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.

In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-N dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Bhargav Sanjeevan Goswami, APS (DR-2016), ACP, Jalukbari, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Law), Assam Police Headquarters, Ulubari, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  20. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-O dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Punamjit Nath, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP, CID, Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, 6th Assam Commando Battalion (Urban Ops and Law & Order), Ambikapur, Sadiya and attached to CM’s Security with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  21. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-P dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti Mausumi Das, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Morigaon is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Cyber Cell), CID, Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  22. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-Q dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti Nahid Karishma, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Karbi Anglong is transferred and her services are hereby attached to Assam Police Headquarters, Ulubari, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
  23. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-R dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti Arunima Bhuyan, APS (DR-2016), ACP (Reserve), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Sadiya with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Shri Rajendra Ojah, APS transferred on being allowed to hold charge post.
  24. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-S dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Prithwiraj Rajkhowa, APS (DR-2016), ACP, Panbazar, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Kokrajhar with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  25. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-T dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Sekhar Jyoti Roy, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Baksa is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Chirang with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  26. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-U dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti Aziza Gulenur, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP, 26th AP(IR)Bn., Chamrasali, Mankachar is transferred and posted as 2nd-in-Command, 8th APBn., Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.

In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-V dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti Subhalakshmi Dutta, APS (DR-2016), SDPO, Nazira, Sivasagar is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Border), Charaideo with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  28. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-W dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Luit Talukdar, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Sonitpur is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Tinsukia with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.

In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-X dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Trinayan Bhuyan, APS (DR-2016), SDPO, Dhansiri, Golaghat is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Bajali with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Smti. Gayatri Sonowal, APS transferred on being allowed to hold charge post.
  30. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-Y dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Shri Nirmal Ghosh, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (Border), Hailakandi is transferred and posted as 2nd-inCommand, 11th APBn., Dergaon, Golaghat with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
  31. In continuation of this Department’s earlier vide Notification No. HMA.545/2017/Pt/44-Z dated 15/07/2023 and in the interest of public service, Smti Daisy Gogoi, APS (DR-2016), Dy. SP (HQ), Sivasagar is transferred and posted as 2nd-in-Command, 4 th APBn., Kahilipara, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Smti. Sumita Shormah, APS transferred on being allowed to hold charge post.

SP (HQ), Dhemaji is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, 2nd Assam Commando Battalion (Ops), Birsima, Hailakandi with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy.
