Guwahati, 30th July: A massive fire destroyed property worth over Rs 80 lakh and completely gutted seven clothing stores in the Gauripur market at Dhubri of Assam on Sunday.
As per reports, the fire is suspected to have been started by a short circuit.
The incident sparked an immediate response from the local community and the fire department, which collaborated to douse the fires.
Despite their efforts, the fire severely damaged the market area.
