Guwahati, 2nd August: A distressing incident unfolded on Wednesday as the lifeless body of a woman was discovered lying in front of her residential house in the 15-mile area of Sonapur.
The victim, identified as Rita Boro, was found dead near her residence, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
The family members of the deceased allege that a man named Hasmat is responsible for her death. They claim that he killed Rita Boro and callously dumped her body near the house during the midnight hours.
On the other hand, neighbors have raised accusations of an illicit relationship between the victim and the accused, Hasmat. They claim to have witnessed them together till late in the night when Rita’s husband was absent.
As news of the tragic incident spread, the police quickly arrived at the scene and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
Presently, the accused, Hasmat, is on the run, evading law enforcement after the alleged crime.
Authorities are dedicated to seeking justice for Rita Boro and ensuring that the truth behind this heart-wrenching event is uncovered.
