Guwahati, 11th August: In a devastating incident, a fatal road accident took place in Naharkatiya, located in Assam’s Dibrugarh district, on Friday. A Bolero pickup van, transporting laborers, met with a collision near Tipam village, resulting in the loss of a woman’s life and leaving 14 others injured.
According to sources, the victim has been identified as Sanja Gowala. The accident left the van severely damaged, and immediate medical attention was sought for the injured individuals. They were swiftly taken to a nearby hospital for necessary medical care.
The mishap has left the local community in shock, shedding light on the need for road safety measures and stricter regulations to prevent such tragic incidents.
