Gruesome Murder Shakes Assam: 12-Year-Old Student Found Beheaded in Madrassa Hostel
Guwahati, 13th August: In a horrifying incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, the lifeless, beheaded body of a 12-year-old student was discovered in a hostel room at a Madrassa in Assam’s Cachar district.
The distressing incident unfolded at Darus Salam Hafizia Madrasa in Dholai. The victim, identified as Rabijul Hussain, had retired to his room after dinner the previous night. Tragically, his life was abruptly cut short, as his beheaded body was discovered in the same room the next morning.
A teacher from the madrasa entered the hostel room to wake up the students for the Fazr namaz when the gruesome discovery was made. The authorities promptly alerted the Dholai police upon finding the decapitated body.
The police arrived at the scene and immediately initiated an investigation into the shocking murder. Around 20 fellow students who shared the hostel room with the victim and three teachers have been taken into custody for questioning.
As the investigation unfolds, the madrasa has been sealed, and the victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH).
The brutal incident has left the community in a state of shock and raised questions about the motive behind such a heinous act. The search for answers continues as the area grapples with the tragic loss of a young life.
