Demand for Capital Punishment Grows Following Madrasa Student’s Tragic Death
Guwahati, 14th August: In the wake of the heartbreaking demise of a Madrasa student in Assam’s Cachar district, family members and local residents have intensified their call for the accused to be sentenced to capital punishment (death penalty).
The 12-year-old student, Rabijul Hussain, whose lifeless body was discovered in the hostel room of Darus Salam Hafizia Madrasa in Dholai, was laid to rest in the Frenchnagar area following a post-mortem examination.
Mourners who participated in the Janaza of the young student voiced a resounding demand for the ultimate penalty to be imposed on those responsible for the heinous act, seeking justice for the merciless killing.
