Guwahati, 20th August: Tragedy struck Darangial village in Assam’s Kampur as a laborer lost his life due to electrocution on Saturday night. The terrible tragedy happened when he was working late into the night on the Jal Jeevan Mission, connecting electricity.
The victim, identified as Anisur Rahman from Dhubri, met his untimely end after being struck by an electric wire. Prompt police response saw them arriving at the scene, retrieving the body, and subsequently sending it for forensic examination in Nagaon.
