Entertainment Desk, 5th September: The trailer for “Bambai Meri Jaan” has been released. Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, the series stars Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwary, and Kritika Kamra in prominent roles.

“Bambai Meri Jaan” transports viewers to 1960s Bombay, unveiling a world of gang wars, firearms, and deception. At its core, the series explores the relationship between a dedicated police officer father and his gangster son. Kay Kay Menon plays the role of Ismail Kadri, an honest cop who discovers that his son, Dara Kadri (Avinash Tiwary), has chosen a life of crime. The trailer reflects the father’s lament, “Seher saaf karte karte mera ghar ganda ho gaya,” highlighting how his efforts to clean up the city have inadvertently tainted his own home. The show then delves into the years that follow, depicting the son’s transformation into a formidable gangster.
About the Show:
“Bambai Meri Jaan” chronicles the life of gangster Dara Kadri through the eyes of his father, Ismail Kadri, an ex-cop. In this season, viewers witness how Dara puts everything on the line, including his family, as he evolves into a cold-blooded, fearless gangster who employs his business acumen to confront not only the police and rivals but also his inner demons.
In addition to Kay Kay and Avinash, the series features Saurabh Sachdeva, Kritika Kamra, Nivedita Bhattacharya, and Amyra Dastur in supporting roles. “Bambai Meri Jaan” is created by Rensil D’Silva and Shujaat Saudagar, with direction by Shujaat Saudagar.
