Passenger Bus Accident in Assam’s Nalbari District Injures Several

Guwahati, 11th September: A passenger bus carrying 55 individuals met with an accident in Tihu, Assam’s Nalbari district on Monday morning, resulting in injuries to several passengers.

According to available information, the bus was en route from Baihata Chariali to Cooch Behar when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and into a deep ditch.

While there were injuries sustained by passengers, thankfully, there have been no reported casualties. Prompt action by local residents led to the rescue of passengers from the overturned bus.

Tihu police also arrived at the scene swiftly to provide assistance and support to the affected passengers, working alongside local villagers.
