Guwahati, 21st September: A heated verbal dispute between two 8th-grade students at a school in Silchar, Assam, took a violent turn, resulting in one of the students being stabbed with a sharp object.
The altercation between the two students escalated rapidly, leading to a violent confrontation. During the incident, one of the students grabbed a sharp object and used it to stab the other, causing serious injuries.
The injured student was promptly rushed to Silchar Medical College Hospital (SMCH) to receive medical treatment. Doctors at SMCH are currently evaluating the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the student who committed the stabbing was apprehended by the Silchar police. An ongoing investigation aims to determine the circumstances surrounding the altercation and the events that transpired.
