Guwahati, 24th September: Late on Saturday night, a heated situation unfolded at Guwahati’s Kalpa Hotel in Ulubari, triggered by allegations of the supply of substandard food items. The allegations were raised by a pitch curator trainee associated with the Assam Cricket Association, where a 25-member training team was staying.
The hotel authorities have come under scrutiny for allegedly providing substandard food over several days, and trainees claim to have paid Rs 900 for each meal. Additionally, there are concerns of alleged misbehavior against a woman, which has escalated the ongoing dispute.
The incident is currently under close monitoring as efforts are made to resolve the situation.
