Assam: Massive Fire Erupts in Jorhat, Reducing Two Houses to Ashes
Guwahati, 27th September: A devastating fire, triggered by a cylinder blast, engulfed and ultimately reduced two houses to ashes in a locality within Assam’s Jorhat district. This alarming incident unfolded in Kamlabari Village, situated in the Na Ali area, as per sources, and the affected houses were both owned by Debashish Rajkowa.
According to the information received, the catastrophic event occurred during a puja ceremony being held in one of the houses. A cylinder explosion ignited a fierce blaze, which swiftly spread to an adjacent dwelling.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries or casualties, but the two houses fell victim to the relentless flames, being completely consumed by the fire’s fury.
Emergency response was swift, with fire tenders rushing to the scene upon receiving the distress call. Their timely efforts played a crucial role in bringing the raging fire under control, preventing further devastation in the locality.
