Guwahati, 4th October: A member of the Mariani Zilla Parishad, along with two associates, found themselves in a distressing situation during a business trip to Nagaland. They were allegedly held captive by an individual named Benjamin at his residence in the Mukokchung district of Nagaland.
The three individuals, including the Zilla Parishad member Pradip Dutta, were reportedly held against their will for reasons that remain unclear. The situation came to light on Wednesday when Mariani police arrived at the scene and secured their release.
The motive behind their captivity is yet to be determined, and further investigations may shed light on the circumstances that led to this ordeal.
