Guwahati, 5th October: A heartbreaking incident occurred in Assam’s Jorhat district when a student in the 9th grade lost her life in a tragic accident. The victim, identified as Farhina Begum, was a student at Teok Rajabri HS School in Sonari Gaon.
According to sources, the accident unfolded at Mudoijan Tiniali area when Farhina was attempting to cross the road. A speeding truck with the registration number ‘AS-01-DD-1887,’ en route to Sivasagar, collided with her, resulting in her immediate and unfortunate demise.
Quick-acting locals detained both the driver and the truck at the scene, and Teok police arrived promptly to handle the situation and maintain order. This tragic incident has left the community deeply saddened.
