Air India Suspends Tel Aviv Flights Amid Israel-Palestine Conflict

International Desk, 8th October: As the conflict between Israel and Palestine escalates, Air India has taken the precautionary measure of suspending all flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 14, 2023. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

Air India stated, “Our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended till 14th October, 2023, for the safety of our passengers and crew. Air India will extend all possible support to passengers who have confirmed bookings on any flight during this period.”

The airline typically operates flights between New Delhi and Tel Aviv five days a week, but these services have been temporarily halted due to the ongoing tensions in the region.

Israel recently declared a ‘state of war’ against Gaza following a barrage of rockets fired into the country. The conflict has resulted in a significant loss of life, with the death toll continuing to rise.

In response to the situation, the Indian Embassy in Israel issued an advisory urging Indian nationals in the country to remain vigilant, observe safety protocols, and exercise caution. They have also provided emergency contact information for citizens in need of assistance.

The conflict between Israel and Palestine remains a matter of international concern, and efforts are ongoing to address the crisis and promote peace in the region.
