Guwahati, 10th October: In a continued effort against corruption, the Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell in Assam apprehended two Lat Mandals, Imamul Haque and Mohri Waheed Ali, stationed at the Gossaigaon Circle Office.
The individuals were caught in the act while accepting a bribe of Rs. 25,000. This follows a previous case on September 30, where middleman Nakbor Ali and Lat Mandal Reba Kt. Bhuyan was apprehended for bribery related to mutation work at the Lahorighat Revenue Circle.
