AJP General Secretary Jagadish Bhuyan ensures fair and transparent elections amidst fake candidate list rumors
Guwahati, 13th October: Amidst the ongoing anticipation, the Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) party, which is yet to release its list of candidates ahead of the elections, has become the center of a significant rumor.
A fake list of AJP candidates for the upcoming election has gone viral, as reported by various media outlets.
The list includes the names of 14 candidates, comprising both prominent figures and unexpected contenders.
However, AJP’s general secretary, Jagadish Bhuyan, has swiftly refuted these claims on the website X (formerly known as Twitter).
He categorically stated that no such list has been officially announced by the party. Bhuyan went on to emphasize the party’s commitment to maintaining a fair and transparent political discourse within the opposition.
He asserted that they will refrain from taking any actions that might impede the collective effort to counter the influence of the BJP and safeguard the integrity of anti-BJP votes.
