Guwahati, 17th October: An ancient and somewhat eerie weapon, identified as a mortar was unearthed during a routine tractor plowing on Arun Moran’s property in Chikarajan in Tinsukia district of Assam.
What added to the intrigue was the discovery of a cryptic document hidden inside the mortar.
The mortar, a historical weapon designed for launching explosive shells, was found buried underground; taking everyone by surprise as such artifacts aren’t commonly encountered in daily life.
Local authorities are currently examining the contents of the document, with the hope that it will provide insights into the origin and intended use of this concealed weapon.
