Guwahati, 18th October: A significant operation against cattle theft was successfully executed by Assam police in Nagaon district. During this operation, 32 cattle heads were recovered from three cars, and one individual was apprehended on charges related to cattle theft.
The operation, led by sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Kaliabor Rupjyoti Dutta, took place in Nagaon’s Kaliabor area during the night of Tuesday.
A senior Nagaon Police official said, “The police team recovered 32 stolen cattle from three vehicles. Three vehicles have been seized and the main accused arrested.”
Authorities have initiated further investigations in connection with this case.
