Guwahati, 21st October: The owner of the Hyundai Creta vehicle involved in the alarming incident where a group of three to four girls was seen sitting on its roof while crossing the newly inaugurated Shraddhanjali Flyover in Guwahati’s Zoo Road area has been summoned by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic).
Noor Remiya Begum, the owner of the vehicle with registration number AS01 EM 9222, has been called to appear before Geetanagar Police Station (Traffic) for questioning related to the incident.
The video of the girls sitting on the moving car’s roof has raised serious safety concerns among the public, leading to calls for stringent action against the driver and the individuals involved.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) is actively investigating the matter to ensure that such incidents are addressed appropriately.
