Indrasena Reddy Nallu Sworn in as 20th Governor of Tripura
Northeast Desk, 26th October: Indrasena Reddy Nallu took the formal oath of office as the 20th Governor of Tripura in a ceremony held on Thursday. The Chief Justice of Tripura High Court, Apresh Kumar Singh, administered the oath to the newly appointed Governor, and the event transpired at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan.
During the solemn ceremony, Governor Nallu exchanged courtesies with distinguished guests in attendance. Among those present were Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Justice Arindam Lodh, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, Tripura Legislative Assembly Chief Whip Kalyani Roy, Mayor Dipak Majumder, State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharya, and CPM State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury, alongside other esteemed administrative officials.
Prior to taking the oath, Governor Nallu was accorded a traditional guard of honor within the Raj Bhavan premises, underscoring the significance of the occasion.
In a statement to reporters, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu expressed gratitude to the President of India for appointing him as the Governor of Tripura. He pledged his dedication to the state’s development and emphasized core principles of transparency, empowerment, and accountability. Governor Nallu underscored his commitment to working closely with the Chief Minister to make sincere efforts for the maximum progress of the state and its people.
