National Desk, 28th October: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani on October 27 reportedly received a death threat via email, demanding a payment of Rs 20 crore and warning of potential harm if the demand was not met.
“If you don’t give us Rs 20 crore, we will kill you. We have the best shooters in India,” the e-mail read.
Following the revelation of this threat, a case has been registered under Sections 387 and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Gamdevi Police Station in Mumbai, as confirmed by the police.
