Kaziranga National Park: Elephant Safari in Kohora and Bagori Forests Now Open for Tourists

Guwahati, 1st November: Kaziranga National Park has officially opened its Kohora and Bagori forests for elephant safaris, providing an exciting opportunity for tourists to explore this stunning natural habitat. The safari was inaugurated by Park Director Sonali Ghosh following a traditional elephant puja and was witnessed by both domestic and foreign visitors on November 1.

Visitors from Canada and various parts of the country shared their exhilarating experiences during the first day of the elephant safari. It’s worth noting that over 16,000 tourists have visited Kaziranga in the first 16 days since its opening on October 15.

Additionally, the park’s director mentioned that private elephant safaris have commenced in the Bagori forest area, enhancing the experience for visitors exploring this remarkable national park. Kaziranga National Park, located in Assam, is renowned for its rich wildlife and beautiful landscapes, making elephant safaris a memorable way to connect with nature and view the region’s diverse wildlife.
