Six Bangladeshi Nationals Apprehended at MBB Airport in Tripura

Northeast Desk, 2nd November: Six Bangladeshi nationals were detained at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Tripura for their unauthorized entry into India on Tuesday evening.

Authorities thoroughly questioned the individuals who failed to provide any valid documents.

As a result, they have been charged under the Indian Passport Act, and an ongoing investigation is underway.

The individuals were identified as illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators and were found moving in and around Agartala MBB Airport.

They had arrived in Agartala with the intention of traveling to Kolkata, according to Abhijit Mandal, the Officer in Charge of the Airport Police Station.
