Recipient of the prestigious Bharat Ratna, Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s legacy lives on through his timeless songs and compositions. On November 5, 2011, this legendary artist left this world, passing away at the age of 85 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai due to age-related ailments.
