Nepal Experiences Series of Earthquakes, Adding to Ongoing Challenges

International Desk, 5th November: Nepal faced another seismic event, as a 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck the nation early on Sunday. The earthquake occurred at 4:38 am at a depth of 10 km, approximately 169 km northwest of Kathmandu, according to the National Centre for Seismology.

This recent earthquake came shortly after a significant 6.4 magnitude earthquake on Saturday, followed by aftershocks measuring 3.3 in magnitude. The continuous seismic activity has posed additional challenges for the already distressed population.

Nepal’s Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, visited the affected areas earlier to assess the situation and the extensive damage caused by these recent earthquakes. The authorities continue to respond to the evolving situation.
