The incident occurred on Saturday night, and the man reportedly fired at least one shot into the air, although there were no reported injuries.
Authorities sought a Turkish translator to communicate with the man, who was initially reported to be accompanied by a child. The situation is believed to be linked to a custody dispute.
Two small fires were observed on the runway, but it remains uncertain whether they were caused by the man. The man accessed the runway by driving through a gate; however, it was not disclosed whether he bypassed any security personnel.
