Guwahati, 5th November: In a bizarre case of sibling rivalry, a BJP Mahila Morcha secretary from the Silchar Unit in Assam’s Cachar district is facing accusations of biting off her elder sister’s nose during a violent brawl stemming from a land-related dispute.
This shocking incident has left family members in astonishment, as the dispute took a violent turn on November 4 when the accused BJP Mahila Morcha leader allegedly bit off the nose of her elder sister, identified as Rinku Nath, who was profusely bleeding and had to seek treatment at the Silchar Medical College Hospital (SMCH).
Sources indicate that the victim’s family has filed a case against the accused BJP leader, Tinku Pal, at the Rangirkhari Police Station.
The conflict revolves around a dispute over ancestral property located on the third link road in Silchar town, which has fueled tensions between the BJP Mahila Morcha leader and her family.
