Meghalaya CM Chairs Meetings on District Hospital Transformation and Water Conservation

Northeast Desk, 6th November: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, led a follow-up meeting with the presence of Health Minister, Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh, to comprehensively review District Hospitals.

The agenda includes discussions on critical aspects such as human resource recruitment, service enhancement, infrastructure modernization, performance optimization, and refined hospital management.

The objective is to transform District Hospitals into centers of excellence to offer an enhanced healthcare experience to all citizens.

In addition, the Chief Minister chaired a meeting involving the Water Resources, C&RD, and Forest Departments to establish collective priority areas.

The aim is to align efforts for water conservation, protection of forests, catchment areas, reservoirs, and measures to ensure water safety and quality. Collaboration with more departments will be sought to ensure coordinated efforts to achieve common goals.
