Assam: Gun Shots Heard In The Night Sky As Businessman Fires Blank In Dhemaji
Guwahati, 10th November: Tension arose in Assam’s Dhemaji, when a businessman allegedly used a blank firearm after a heated argument with a close associate.
Reports state that local police found an empty 0.32 mm bullet casing after a shooting incident on Thursday night.
The incident occurred in a market area where the businessman, owner of an establishment, discharged a shot into the air.
This incident transpired near Pallabi Battery and Tyre Agency.
The individual accused of firing the blank round, Raju Tamuli, surrendered to the Dhemaji Sadar police station.
Locals assert that the dispute between Tamuli and Pallabi Battery and Tyre Agency stemmed from service-related issues.
